A Bias Cute Skirt, For Me!

Have you check out One Yard Wonders?

One-Yard Wonders: 101 Sewing Fabric Projects; Look How Much You Can Make with Just One Yard of Fabric!

It's a book full of terrific ideas, from kids to the kitchen to you.  It's a perfect book for beginniners, or the impatient crafty girl in need of a new skirt.....NOW!

I desperately needed to add a few fun summer skirts to my wardrobe, and settled on the bias cut skirt pattern.  It's so simple!  It took less than 30 minutes to create, from cutting to finish.

I added about 3 inches to the bottom when I was cutting.  I just don't do super short skirts anymore.  The Amy Butler Dancing Paisley print has all of my favorite summer colors in it.  Love it!

  1. So when are you going to hold a class for the Moms Club - I want in if you do! Can you help me make some cute maternity clothes - I hate what I am finding! :)

  2. Love this skirt, you look great Erin! Everything you make is cute :)

  3. Just happened upon your blog....I have made at least 12 of these skirts--no kidding. Aren't they just the best ever??
