Flowers for All

I love buttons.  I mean, I LOVE BUTTONS!  When my grandmother Lois passed away, I inherited a delightful collection of vintage buttons.  For years, I've been pulling them out, staring at them, and putting them away.  I just couldn't part with them.  Then, one day, the light bulb when off!

Ping!!

These would be the perfect gift for the Aunties!  Each auntie recieved a beautiful fabric flower, with one of Grandma's vintage buttons in the center.  It seemed so fitting, as Grandma and Grandpa owned a flower shop for years.  Love it!

Check out Little Birdie's site for a bouquet of fabric flower tutorials!

Happy Crafting!

  2. Just unwrapped mine! Thanks for sharing the heirloom buttons with us. My friend Amy makes dog collars and fabric flowers for the collars - they're totally charming: Bow Wow Couture

  3. Oh! In case you need even more flower ideas to make a mixed bouquet, I just remembered these favorite flowers from Made With Love by Hannah: Ric Rac Dahlias.
